1. Here are some good advice on planning your next holiday:
Choose your preferred region
North, South, East or West, Mauritius has superb beaches all around the island. Do you prefer to be close to busy centres or in quiet regions?
Choose the accommodation that will suit you best
mauritiusvillas.mu proposed 4 different types of accommodation: villa, apartment, guest houses or hotel.
If you like your freedom and be independent, a villa or apartment is the right choice.
Book well in advance
The earlier the better... You will have more chances to have availability in the accommodation of your choice if you book well in advance.
High season is from September to February. Peak is during holidays - December - January, and if you wish to book a villa for that period, you are advised to book 12 months in advance.
Gather maximum details to help us find your accommodation
How many adults? how many children and how old are they? will you need a cot? are there people with special need travelling?
Avoid shopping around
The more webpages you visit, the more precious time you lose. We are rich of 25 years of experience and all our villa owners trust us.
We guarantee you all the assistance you require. A dedicate staff will personally look after your request and provide you with all the information you require.

Minimum stay
The conditions of booking in a self-catering accommodation impose a minimum stay of 7 days. During holidays or Peak season, the minimum stay is of 14 days.Plan well your leave and book for your flights accordingly.
Budget and Rates
All our rates are published in Euros and include the full assistance of mauritiusvillas.mu, and all the applicable taxes.
For villas and apartments, rates published are per unit and per night. Whereas in hotel and guesthouses, the price is per person and per night.
Pay attention to this detail when calculation your budget.

How to find your accommodation
For this you can either use the Inspirator function by inserting maximum details such as the region, number of persons, etc.
Or you can also take some time to browse around the webpages of our villas and apartments. Remember, we feature the largest choice of self-catering accommodation so you will see almost all the best selected properties on Mauritius.
Categories
Our villas & apartments have been classified into the following categories:
Budget - simple and inexpensive accommodation
Standard - basic comfortable accommodation, all equiped and with all the necessary facilities for fantastic holidays
Superior - accommodation of a higher standard, often on a premium location or with a swimming pool, quality equipment & amenities
Deluxe - high quality accommodation, on a premium site or with a swimming pool or both, sophisticated equipment, facilties & amenities
Get a quote
When you are on the main list of villas and apartments, you can already ask for your free quote (yes it is absolutely free of charge to ask for information and we will be more than happy to assist you). Just click on the option Enquire for it.
Your choice will be added to your shopping cart and you will be directed to your shopping list. From this point, you can either go back to the list of villas or apartments or even services (transfers, wedding, etc...) and add more products to your shopping cart. Or you can simply confirm you cart.
If you click on the the option Get more details you will be directed to the product's page. Here you will get all the necessary information on this specific item, by clicking then on the option Facilities. You can also get all on one page from the option Print: this is a little printer logo on the right side of your screen, just below the calendar. If you wish to get a free quote for this item, then simply click on the GET A QUOTE logo, also on the right side of your screen.
Or, we have also inserted at the end of the product's description text, a Free quote link that will direct you to an automated email composer where you just have to fill your travel information and we will reply to your email with your free quote.
When you confirm all the items of your shopping cart, you will be directed to another page where you will be asked to fill in your travel details. We need these information so as to produce the best quotation for your dream holidays.
